Bed and Breakfast
Modern comfort in an antique setting. There are nine bedrooms - three of which are charming suites - and three small apartments All rooms have en suite with shower, minibar, air conditioning, safes, LCD TVs, telephone and internet connection. Every detail of the furnishings has been studied carefully to give you the magic sensation of living in a timeless home. In the mornings you can choose to have breakfast in the park or in the splendid dining room with its marvellous wooden roof beams and a huge fireplace with a fire burning.
The conference room
Villa Chiopris is an ideal spot for meetings and conferences; it has an elegant drawing room with all modern technology, including projectors and a wide screen. There is a beautiful large antique table for meetings. From the windows there is a splendid view of the park.
The cellars
The main cellar has a ceiling with wooden beams and stone walls and is ideal for parties, exhibitions and banquets, whilst the smaller cellar next to it is made entirely of wood and built on two floors; this is the perfect setting to taste the Livon estate wines which have won awards at both national and international level. The Hausbrandt family used this cellar as a trophy room for their game, and the original fireplace where they used to cook the freshly-caught prey is still here.
The winery
Inside the antique room of the winery you can find the best produce of the Livon home farm; not only wines which have been praised by some of the most important wine guides and magazines in the world, but also other products from the rich land of Friuli: grappa, oil and balsamic vinegar all of excellent quality, carefully nurtured by the Livon family.
The park
The magnificent park which surrounds Villa Chiopris, with its fountain designed by Antonio Benati, gives it a magical air of peace. In the distance there is a swimming pool surrounded by sweet smelling lavender bushes and for those who prefer a stroll, there are impressive, centuries-old trees dominating the park.
